The Italian team's ambitions will be supported by a high profile CV asthe Monegasque Coletti, 22 years old, is about to start his second season in GP2 after winning three times in 2011 (Abu Dhabi in GP2Asia, Istanbul and Budapest in the Main Series).

Everything is in place for Scuderia Coloni to start 2012 on the samelevels that last year allowed the team to finish the season as thetechnical reference point in one of the most competitive contexts of motorsport.

Paolo Coloni:
"There is more than one reason to be happy about today'sannouncement. We get to the start of the season with a promising andcompetitive driver that impressed us for how quickly he managed tointegrate into the team during winter tests where he put in very goodtimes. I have been following Coletti since last year where Stefanomanaged to end the season as best rookie in GP2 despite skipping tworaces due to the crash of Spa and I am proud for having space for a talent of his caliber. With such a premise expectations will obviously be high: we have what it takes to obtain very good results and we aim to get them since the beginning".

Stefano Coletti:
"I am very happy on reaching this agreement with Scuderia Coloni for the next GP2 season. First of all I would like to thank Paolo and the whole Coloni family who showed interest in me since the day after the end of 2011 championship. This coming season will be crucial for my career and I thought a lot about what the best choice for my future was.
I had an excellent feeling with the car, engineers and the whole staff since the first test held with Coloni; the whole team was extremely focused and aggressive, exactly the way I like! I cannot wait to start testing and afterwards to face the races that will unfold in a challenging and thrilling calendar".
